SNAIL MAIL - Ricochet

Arriving March 27, 2026, via Matador Records, "Ricochet" is the highly anticipated third studio album from Lindsey Jordan, better known as Snail Mail. Marking her first full-length release in five years, the record finds Jordan returning with a sharpened sense of clarity and control.

While her earlier work, "Lush" and "Valentine", chronicled the emotional turbulence of young love, Ricochet reveals a deeper fixation on time, mortality, the "quiet terror" of watching life slip through one's fingers, and an acknowledgment that the world continues to turn regardless of the upheavals in one's own small orbit.

"Ricochet" expands Jordan’s sonic palette with ornate string arrangements and hypnotic textures, channeling the luminous side of '90s alternative rock, echoing the Smashing Pumpkins at their sunniest and the shoegaze haze of bands like Catherine Wheel and Ivy.

The album was recorded with producer and bassist Aron Kobayashi Ritch (of the band Momma).
